David, born in 1967, graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours Degree, majoring in Economics attaining a first class pass. In addition David’s Honours Thesis (Economic Concentration: The consequence of Mergers and Acquisitions) was awarded the Senbank prize for the most outstanding thesis for 1992 in South Africa. Prior to co-founding ParityFX Plc, David was Head of UK Institutional FX Sales for Hedge Funds, High Net Worth clients and Bank Sales at Unicredit Group. David has over 20 years experience trading in the financial markets, primarily as a risk-market maker on the FX and Precious Metals Options desk at institutions like JP Morgan, Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers. David has been able to leverage this experience in the currency markets to advise clients on the best ways to hedge and trade foreign exchange.
Osahon, or Ossie as he's commonly known, was born in 1971, studied Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial College London. Ossie was a trader at Tudor Capital Europe, before co-founding ParityFX Plc. While he was at Tudor, Ossie was an integral part of a macro-trading team, which specialised in a blend of discretionary and systematic currency trading. Ossie's responsibilities included risk taking, Elliott Wave analysis, and multi-asset option structuring and execution. Using his experience as a Chartered Market Technician (CMT) to work on pattern recognition in currency markets, combined with nearly 20 years working for firms like Goldman Sachs, Schroders and Tudor, has enabled Ossie to devise optimal strategies to time foreign exchange trades.
